Motiv-Eight Merit Scholarship Award
SHONETTE PAISLEY:
Hello, my name is Shonette Paisley, I am Senior Enterprise Trainer with Fiserv and I served on the scholarship review committee with Angela and others.
As Angela was saying, it was not until I was faced with the review and voting for a scholarship winner did, I really understand the caliber of the Girl Scout earning the Gold Award – and all the good these girls were doing in the world today. To say we were impressed is putting it far too mildly.
In addition to my role at Fiserv, I am also a part of an organization called MotivEight. Our vision is to empower individuals to be their highest authentic selves by escaping average through our mission to inspire emotional intelligent leaders through life coaching and mentorship with intention, respect for all, purposeful, engagement and authenticity.
The members of MotivEight hadn’t planned on getting involved with a Girl Scout scholarship, yet when we read the applications, one other Girl Scout captured our attention and we knew we wanted to recognize her today too.
There are so many – yes, we could say too many – women in our circles who are battling and surviving Breast Cancer. Lifting up a meaning message about breast knowledge and overall body health struck a cord in us. So, we are happy and proud to recognize Addison White with a honorable mention for her Gold Award work in this critical area from the members of MotivEight. Please welcome to the stage, Addison White.
