I have always been passionate about speaking, coaching, mentoring, teaching, training, and business development. Imagine a world where all of one’s dreams become a reality. I’m living that life – many refer to this as living one’s best! I believe that every day I take intentional steps to live a life rich in meaning and purpose. I believe that with each deliberate stride, we all can take courageous leaps to lifting self and others.

With 25 years of business experience, I have come to realize that many count on me because of my ability and compassion to steer healthy business relationships. These partnerships have yielded much return on investment for all stakeholders due to several strengths. A few years ago, I ventured to understand the root of these strengths; I turned to Gallup’s CliftonStrengths.

My goal-oriented, positive mindset on life and drive to inspire emotional intelligent leaders have been the driving forces behind establishing MotivEight, LLC.  Daily, I give my best as Vice President of Network Relations. But my desire to connect with hundreds, or even thousands is boundless. I am fluent in seeing goals through completion and in my lifetime I have earned a Doctor of Management (in Organizational Leadership) degree, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication. On a warmer side, I am wife and mother of three. My ultimate joys erupt when I think of my children’s possibilities. So for them this is my opportunity to build a legacy. And for them, greatness is within reach.

I was introduced to Simone at a time when I needed help with advancing my career within my company. I knew my interview and presentation skills were out of shape.   Simone helped not only with my interview skills, as a relationship was born between a mentor and mentee. No one enjoys receiving criticism, but Simone’s suggestions were clear, accurate and to-the-point. We worked together to find out what I wanted from my next job and various aspects of professional and personal development. With Simone's mentoring I was able to gained a promotion and even decided to further my education with a MBA.    Of course, none of this is a guarantee of success but as a mentee I had to be prepared to do the work and was happy when I would get those text or chit chat from Simone just to check up on me in between our scheduled sessions.  I say this as someone who started out very cynical about the idea of mentoring, Simone is a great mentor and I count myself lucky to have worked with her as I have not only gain a lifelong mentor in Simone but also a great friendship as we share ideas on professional and personal development and I’m extremely grateful to her and would highly recommend Simone to anyone who is seeking a mentor. Hi Simone, I had an opportunity to get to know you through our Women’s Impact Network. You were an instrumental role as co-lead for WIN.  You always lead by example and your motivation and energy is infectious.  You’re presentation at the Miami Women’s Leadership Summit was inspirational.  I believe you talked about the story of Bessie Coleman, the first African American woman to be a pilot and how courageous and motivated she was.   Whether you are giving a speech, or having a one on one conversation, you exude enthusiasm and passion .  You are always willing to lend a helping hand although your task list is always full.  No matter what someone’s need is you have always demonstrated and encouraged a ‘can do’ attitude.  I’ve learned that an individual can always add value when they put their heart and soul into what they do.  VALUE – Valor, Accountable, Lead from Wherever you Are, Use Understanding/Think holistically, Empathy.   Best of luck in your endeavors.  I am confident you will succeed wherever your compass leads you to.
